Fabio Iraldo is a full professor of Management at the Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies in Pisa, known for his expertise in innovation, sustainability and health. He directs the prestigious doctoral program in Innovation, Sustainability and Healthcare and is also co-director of the SUM Laboratory – Sustainability Management at the Scuola Sant’Anna. In addition, he holds important roles as director of the Green Economy Observatory at Bocconi University and vice-director of the inter-university center CESISP (Circular Economy, Industrial Symbiosis and Product Sustainability), which has seen the collaboration between the Institute of Management of Sant’Anna, the University of Genoa and the Polytechnic of Turin since 2006.
Professor Iraldo has coordinated several research projects on circular economy and environmental footprint, funded by the EU through EU programmes such as the Life PREFER and Life EFFIGE projects. He also played a leading consultant role for the European Commission in the evaluation of Sustainable Production and Consumption policies, which contributed to the recent community strategy “Building the Single Market for Green Products” and the Circular Economy Package. In 2006, he founded ERGO, the first spinoff company of the Scuola Sant’Anna in the field of sustainability business services.
Professor Iraldo is the author of numerous scientific papers of international importance, focusing on the role of companies in sustainable development, published in journals with Impact Factor. His most recent books include “Oltre il Greenwashing” (Edizioni Ambiente, 2020), “Gestire i rischi da cambiamento clima” (francoangeli, 2020) and “Management dell’Economia Circular” (francoangeli, 2020).
