Francesco Testa

Francesco Testa, Professor of Sustainability Management at the Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies in Pisa, is an authority in the field of life cycle management and sustainability. He coordinates the Life Cycle Management research group and serves as Deputy Director of the Institute of Management. It is also a partner of Spin-off Ergo srl, a company born from the collaboration with the Scuola Sant’Anna in the field of business services.

His main research areas focus on the relationship between institutional pressures, motivational drivers and environmental and economic performance, as well as circular economy business models and sustainable entrepreneurship. He has participated in numerous research projects funded by the European Commission in the field of environmental management.

Professor Testa is Associate Editor of the renowned academic journal “Business Strategy & the Environment” and is a member of the Editorial Board of the magazines “Organization & Environment” and “CSR&EM”. He has published over 100 articles, books and book chapters that address these important topics. His research contributes significantly to the development and understanding of business sustainability and the circular economy.
